The Warehouse Cultural Center was founded by the creative minds behind the production of “Mama’s Restaurant”, the first TV entertainment series entirely produced in Malawi. The Warehouse was the result of discussions with the creative community of Malawi, and a fulfillment of its members´ desire for “a space of their own”. Since its founding in 2004, The Warehouse has staged numerous events: theatre performances, music concerts, a cinema club, cultural festivals and various workshops. The Center offers quality infrastructure, professionally trained personnel and media exposure.
